i heart italy – the kitchen angel competition
The month of June means that it is time to celebrate la Festa della Repubblica – Italian Republic Day! In true Italian style we are celebrating all month long. Please join us as we appreciate all things Italian and Italian inspired! To enter Submit on theKitchen Angel facebook page your favourite Italian inspired dessert photo. Each week the photo with the most likes will receive an Italian hot chocolate kit to make your own thick and luxurious hot chocolates at home. At the end of the month of June the photo with the most likes in total will win a baking kit worth $35! Even if you have never been to Italy, you can still enjoy the love of Italian food, wine, romance and dolce far niente (the sweetness of doing nothing)! All it takes is one photo, some sharing with friends and family and you can have your own Italian patisserie experience without having to leave the comfort of your own home (hot barista not included)! To enter Submit an Italian inspired cafe photo on our Locale facebook page which will be judged by our fans through Facebook likes. The more likes, the higher your chances of winning the weekly and/or monthly prize, so make sure you share your photo with family and friends to increase your chance of winning. The prizes Each and every entrant in this competition will receive one free coffee at Locale. Each week the photo with the most likes will receive a mixed biscotti pack. At the end of the month of June the photo with the most likes in total will win a Coffee and Bake cooking class with Italian pastry chef Mario Cali! In true Italian style it’s an all month festa and we invite you to join us as we celebrate all things Italian and Italian inspired and join us in a fun little competition! The competition Submit your own travel photo either taken in Italy or inspired by Italy on the Marca facebook page, which will be judged by our fans via “likes”. Each week the photo with the most likes will receive a Brachetto D’Acqui Tosti piccolo sparkling wine. At the end of the month of June the photo with the most likes in total will win a $50 restaurant voucher! All it takes is one photo and sharing with your family and friends to win an Italian meal, as good as if you were in Italy. fancy some morning tea?
We’re pleased to announce that we have reached yet another key milestone on the Kitchen Angel journey this week. In fact we were successful in achieving it sooner than expected! Drum roll please …. We’ve secured a flagship store in Brisbane where the Kitchen Angel product range will be sold direct, where we will hold baking demonstrations and of course, have the obligatory coffee bar. We’re so excited and can’t wait to share all of the details with you. But until then, we thought we’d throw in a little teaser. Rather than tell you where it is, we thought we’d run a competition to see if you can guess where our store will be. Here are your clues: 1. It’s approximately 3 km from the Brisbane CBD 2. We’re in a commercial precinct 3. Steinway, Boston & Essex – we love the sound of them The first person to guess the exact location (street number, name and suburb) will win a free morning tea for 2 people at our new store. Simply add your answer as a comment to this blog post. This competition is open to Brisbane residents only (unless you are willing to donate your prize to a family, friend or colleague who lives in Brisbane) and does not include the cost of travel.
